The Story of Estefan & The Estefan Kingdom Mission, Inc.
The Estefan Kingdom Mission, Inc. was birthed out of love, faith, and hope—established in memory of Estefan, a son whose 24 years of life were devoted to honoring God and serving humanity. Though his time on earth was brief, Estefan’s life was rich with purpose, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to helping others, especially the poor, the vulnerable, and the forgotten.
Estefan was known for his kind, caring, loving, and giving spirit. He believed deeply in living out his faith through action. Locally, he served faithfully in nursing homes, homeless shelters, community outreach events, and underserved schools throughout Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Florida. His heart for service extended far beyond borders. Internationally, Estefan traveled to Japan and Okinawa, where he ministered to American service members at Kadena Air Force Base. He also served in England, Australia, and throughout the Caribbean, always seeking opportunities to uplift others and share God’s love.
Although Estefan did not have the opportunity to physically travel to Africa during his lifetime, his heart was firmly planted there. He actively supported schools and orphaned children across several African nations, sowing seeds of hope, education, and compassion that continue to bear fruit today.
What fueled Estefan’s vibrant spirit—his belief that he could go anywhere and do anything—was rooted in his deep faith in Christ. His favorite scripture, Philippians 4:13, which he held so close to his heart that he tattooed it on his arm, declares:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
This verse was not just a motto for Estefan; it was the foundation by which he lived.
Estefan loved people of all backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life. He believed that all humanity is created by God and bears the image of Christ. Because of this belief, he was passionate about ensuring that everyone—regardless of circumstance—had access to basic necessities such as food, shelter, clothing, dignity, and opportunity.
On September 24, 2021, Estefan’s life was suddenly and unexpectedly cut short at the age of 24. His passing left a deep and painful void, yet even in grief, his legacy continued to speak. Friends and those whose lives he touched described him as a “legend gone too soon.” Through the sorrow, comfort was found in the truth of John 12:24 (NLT):
“I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives.”
It is from this promise that The Estefan Kingdom Mission, Inc. was born.
